Do You Even Skin - The brand
It is of course a cheeky play on words for the patients who seek the care of DO YOU EVEN SKIN. You do not need a GP referral; however, most patients are on a referral basis. We see patients with acute concerns such as inflamed skins, new breakouts and skin changes associated with hormones such as puberty and pregnancy. We meet many patients plateaued results, and those who have been misguided by other practitioners. Do You Even Skin is a small business which prides itself on using Australian skincare and opt for biodegradable, recycled, sustainable, and minimal plastic where possible – business cards, gloves, spatulas wipes, etc are all biodegradable/recycled.
Whitney Gunn - Owner
Whitney is a Dermal Clinician with 15 years of experience in the skin, health, and beauty industry. She graduated with distinction from the Bachelor of Dermal Sciences at Victoria University in Melbourne. During her career, Whitney has moved through many clinical practice and education roles. She has worked alongside specialist plastic surgeons, dermatologists and dermal clinicians in clinics across Sydney and Melbourne. But, like many, the pandemic saw significant change and she launched DO YOU EVEN SKIN in 2020 bringing her skillset to the Illawarra and Shoalhaven.
Whitney has a passion for vascular and inflammatory skin. She has undertaken advanced training with laser and skin needling to provide colour correction, skin health and optimise overall skin integrity. Alongside her interest in skin, Whitney has a thirst for knowledge and is constantly finding new ways to optimise patient results with new clinical treatments and cosmeceutical skincare prescriptions.
Shellharbour Skin
Shellharbour Skin is a doctor-led clinic specialising in skin cancer and aesthetic medicine. Here, the allied health team can target all skin challenges including acute and chronic skin disease management, sun damage and pigment removal, medical ance management, skin treatments with medical grade energy based devices, skin cancer checks, cosmetic injectables and minor surgical procedures. Ultimately, interdisciplinary practice ensures optimal skin health across all skin types and skin challenges.
